up to help the blind children in our area. For this noble cause 14 members, representing our 150 members batch had decided the following schedule-
Medical Students (MARSHALS) – ASSEMBLED BEFORE THE MEET UP
Meet up details: We all started after the arrival from our college and reached the place at 3pm (IST) .We already collected our funds of July two days prior to the meet up and inquired them (blind school management) about their requirements. In the previous meet ups we have already donated some trunk boxes, slippers, school bags and money.
This time by considering their requirements we have decided to buy some iron wardrobes with the money we collected for the month of July. As we know that we are students and not business people who can donate huge amounts but wesome how managed to get small donations among our student friends to fulfill the requirements of those children who need help.
“Louis Braille”– the great man who developed the language for the blind.
After we completed the donation activity we distributed sweets to the children and finally the staff and the teachers of that school expressed their happiness on our activities and donations.
” let noble thoughts come to us from every side”
” donate your eyes ” – Eye donation a divine human power….

This time I have taken up the leadership for this meet up and I am glad that this meet up has ended up well with joy and sense of satisfaction. Through out this activity all our friends cooperated very well to make this event a memorable one and they also expressed their happiness to be a part of this great cause. I hope this will further motivate them and other students in my college to take part in these types of activities.
1) Help orphanage and physically challenged students with the money we collected among our friends and provide then the necessities like clothing, foot wear, study items and others.
2) Educate people and children about the diseases which are common in those areas and explaining then the preventive measures with the help of the social and preventive medicine department.
3) To encourage other students in our local area and making them to be a part our network.
4) Trying to spread out this message to as many people as possible to help those children who are physically and mentally challenged.
5) To inculcate the feelings of sacrifice, helping nature and brotherhood among our friends and neighborhood.
The reason we participate in these activities is that we are going to be the future doctors and we should have healthy relations with the people, understand their problems and also it’s our responsibility to see that every person in our society should be healthy both mentally and physically.
